Community     "Prayer  Siren"

Imagine...  
Christ-followers everwhere 
within the sound of the siren,
praying together, 
at the same time,
for their community.

"Transform Indiana" is actively promoting a practice of "Community Prayer" each week -- when your community's warning sirens sound.

For instance, several communities around Indiana typically test their community sirens every Friday at 11:00 a.m.

(If your city doesn’t test their warning system regularly,
then perhaps set an alarm to pray with others on Fridays.)

Wouldn't this be an excellent time for us to stop and take a few minutes specifically to pray for the spiritual, social, educational, and physical needs of those in your own local sphere of interaction – your family, neighbors, fellow workers, teachers, pastors and civic leaders & heroes?

If each of us prays for those close to us, and we encourage others to pray for those close to them, we can... eventually... build a prayer-net that supports everyone in Indiana.

Then, as Nehemiah said, "We prayed to our God and posted a guard day & night...".  That is, we pray and we act... to impact our communities as salt & light.

Let’s pray for transformation of our state, one 'neighbor' at a time!
