Well, at least one thought-train might conclude that as born-again Christians bring their spiritual gifts and God-given talents to the local body of Christ, even here in the virtual world, what a glorious feast of unity we will then continuously celebrate, 24x7 !!!
That's the vision of those who've 'bought-in' to the concepts at IndyChristian.com (and ChristianCities.net -- city-portals all over the country & world). And the concept couldn't have come at a better time than now, as the Lighthouse Movement in its various forms is taking root, city by city, church by church, neighborhood by neighborhood.
If you've come to appreciate the vision for a grass-roots, LOCAL portal-site for Christians, and if you prayerfully conclude that God would have YOU add value for the local community (or maybe even globally) by using some of your gifts & talents, contact us. There are any number of possibilities for contributing here in the God's cyber kingdom.... artwork, ideas, page-reviews, do some web-pages even, participate in online focus-groups, pass the word to your online friends & neighbors, and last but not least.... simply praying and encouraging us.
Remember: Never in any other moment in the history of the world has it been so easy, fast and effective to help build up your section of "the wall" of the kingdom. Decide for yourselves just how applicable and far-reaching that concept might be... Go back and read about Nehemiah's miraculous building of wall, and especially this verse....
"So the wall was completed" ..... "in fifty-two days. When all our enemies heard about this, all the surrounding nations were afraid and lost their self-confidence, because they realized that this work had been done with the help of our God."
Fifty-two days may seem short,
but it's a ton of nanoseconds!Bottom line: They prayed and they acted, day & night.
What we want are... "visionaries"
who buy into the mission of expediting
"New Life in the Fast Lane".
One Opportunity -- Serve as a "Guide":
The Church is about relationships, so at IndyChristian.com, we try to follow a personal "guide" strategy here, signing up leaders in particular areas of expertise who might be willing to share their knowledge and linkage to the best-in-class information on a topic.
Example: As a Singles Guide, someone could serve the Indy community by keeping abreast of evangelical ministries and events which serve our large contingency of singles in the area. Maybe find and point to great articles online for singles -- especially locally generated.
We need more of you to put your knowledge & networks to use for citywide impact. We hope you'll feel led to contact us with your other ideas for topic-areas, but here are just a few people we're specifically looking for:

Are you excited about your church or ministry well and wish everyone knew about it too? Are you 'e-capable'... that is, can you do email & surf? If so, consider how God may be moving you to be or service to your church or ministry, and at the same time serve the entire Christian community here around Indy. In today's internet world, writing short news or event announcements is way easy. Perhaps you've seen some others on IndyChristian's homepage or our Centralized Events-site. If you'd at least like to check out the possibilities of helping your church or ministry in this way, then simply email us. Let us show you just how easy this could be. Imagine the possibilities...
Build web-pages -- who me? Or just go 'surfing' for us....
Never before has assembling web-pages been so easy. Anyone and everyone who can use Microsoft Word, can add value to IndyChristian.com. Or even if you can simply surf & email !!! So think of what value you could contribute simply by being our "eyes & ears"? Example -- updating events about your local church, or by surfing-out some best-in-class web-sites around the net, and advising us or writing up a review, etc. How about a scavenger-hunt for (uncopyrighted) artwork around the net? What a service ! Lots of very talented people would gladly contribute their art-talents to the cause, and only await someone to ask? Will you go find them and ask? But beyond what we can dream up, YOU have the best ideas of what you can do to build the site.Just remember -- if we're to stay low-cost, high-efficiency, we need to minimize time spent in discussions. So if you know something valuable to add, just go start... and then let us know what direction you're headed. Email us.
