Yes, Jesus said it first, said it simpler, and said it as a command:
"Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

He prayed to the Father for our oneness:
"I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one"

Paul said too:
"Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God."

"Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves."

"There is one body and one Spirit--just as you were called to one hope when you were called
-- ⁵one Lord, one faith, one baptism..."

"I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought.

Interestingly in today's world, Google serves as a great illustration of a piece of God's truth that has suddenly been discovered by corporate America. Google's ranking system heavily prioritizes your site based on how many other sites link to yours. Thus, the more collaboration and cross-linkage, the higher recognition that your site is valuable to the surfing public. And is Google's methodology valued by knowledge seekers? Apparently. Google is the number one search engine by anyone's estimation, and ready to IPO on Wall Street shortly.

All truth is God's truth. Collaboration pays great dividends and lowers cost.

So let's go back to our ministries and re-consider how we might quickly add more value to all of Christ's ministry in Indy, not to mention our own particular ministry, by collaborating with other Bible-believing organizations in the Greater Indianapolis area.

While you don't necessarily have to work with the IndyChristian.com network of affiliates, please do be working together with others who share the core tenets of our common faith. And if you choose to work with us and the "Transform Indiana" ministry coalition, at least you'll be involved with the largest coalition of conservative evangelistic organizations in the area.

IndyChristian.com has, from the outset in 1999, freely linked to 'statement of faith' churches & ministries via our Churches & Ministries page which we fondly have referred to as the "Christian Racing Team". And we've regularly featured such organization sites on our front page as a form of encouragement to pastors, and as great places to send our surfing public. No cost to the ministries. No cost to the public. No pop-up ads. And no donors solicited. We're here to add value -- not redirect donor resources.

IndyChristian.com has helped start the "Transform Indiana" ministry coalition -- now a LIVE reality -- leaders networking, praying, planning and pursuing active ministry together in some practical ways for the sake of the Great Commission around our city & state. With a growing web-site for centralized communication. No cost. And they have no budget to underwrite, so no donors to solicit. Again, adding value -- not competing for dollars.

And now we're creating the "Crossroads Connection" -- a weekly COLLABORATIVE e-newsletter among Christian leaders and their ministries & businesses. No cost for recipients to join the elist.

And now we've come to the point where critical mass of the network has been reached, great value is being added for everyone via this portal for Greater Indianapolis Christians... at no cost. Furthermore, everything that's been free, stays free. Having laid the groundwork, now each small dollar spent by participating ministries can yield significant value to their ministry as we work together in win-win ways... like reciprocally linking to each other and via multiple sites.

So here's the plan...

As the "Crossroads Connection" weekly e-newsletter goes out to an increasingly wide audience throughout the Greater Indianapolis area, it includes a navigational-bar that includes the links of all churches & ministries collaborating with Ministry Support Services on this project. The small cost of $2 per newsletter is just one more way we can demonstrate the principle of value through Christian teamwork. And at the same time, $2 goes a long way for us when spent in new paradigm ways. And we can leverage that $2 toward greater future ministry support for local ministries. It's win-win, with no downside.

So during February... these navigational links (at left) in the weekly newsletters will start being pared down to only include sponsoring churches and ministries.
