Lucious Newsom Dies at Age 93

A former minister and local advocate for the poor, Lucious Newsom died at the age of 93 Monday night.Newsom had been hospitalized at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove.He had run a pantry mission for 20 years. He had been honored two months ago for decades of service.

Well done... oh good and faithful servant! I pray that those of us who remain will carry on the work that Lucious started. He was an incredible inspiration and leaves a legacy of loving those around us, no matter what their background, personality, or temperment.
