FHL Week Starts With Prayer Walk Around The Circle

[Press Release: Indianapolis, IN, July 11, 2008]

Faith, Hope, and Love, International, Inc. will be leading a prayer walk around Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis heralded by 49 Shofar players at 3pm next Sunday [July 20]. The Prayer Walk is the kick-off event to Faith, Hope, and Love Week 2008. Faith, Hope, and Love Week is described by FHL International, Inc., CEO, Merlin Gonzales, as a “mission trip without leaving home”. Volunteers are welcome and will be encouraged to sign up for scheduled community services during Faith, Hope and Love Week, 2008 – July 20-26.

The Prayer Walk At The Circle will [gather] at 2:30pm for volunteers on the Circle steps. At 3pm, the Shofars, positioned around the Circle, will sound the official beginning of the Prayer Walk. Participants will then march around the Circle seven times followed by a prayerful and joyful shout for the City of Indianapolis, its businesses and citizens. This will be followed by a Prayer Rally which will include worship and dance.

Faith, Hope and Love Week, is a ground starter for ongoing scheduled community service projects over the course of the year with a view to helping cities transform themselves through public outreach that is motivated by the love of Christ.
