Amateur Golfing Great Helps Teens Hang Onto Faith

It was a test of faith that Indianapolis golfing legend Nancy Fitzgerald says she failed.
But then, she was only a child.
"When I was five, my brother drowned and I found him," said Fitzgerald, winner of multiple amateur golf tournaments in Indiana in the past two decades.
"As a 5-year-old, I couldn't believe why, if God is so loving, he couldn't have saved him. My father told me Stephen went up to be with God. I remember telling God at that time 'if that's who you are, stay away from me.' "
Years later, after the birth of her four children, Fitzgerald says, she remained an avowed atheist.
Then something else happened in her life...
