Christian Emergency Network Founder on White House Panel

CEN Founder/Chairman Mary Marr was one of four panelists for "The Role of Faith-Based and Community Organizations in Emergency Preparedness" section of the [May 19] White House Roundtable discussion regarding the critical role of nonprofits in disaster preparation and response. Marr's current "Ready Church" initiative is a key component in getting churches nationwide trained, equipped, and motivated to be involved with the gospel message in terms of praying, caring, and sharing during any crisis situation.
