Appeals Court Overturns Ban On Prayer

Sectarian prayers, including those to Jesus Christ, could return to the front of the Indiana House chamber after a court ruling Tuesday, but opponents warned of a legal challenge if that happens.

β€œIt is a great joy. God has answered our prayer. We have been fasting. We have been praying. We have been crying to the Lord that he would restore our freedom.”
β€” Yaqub Masih, pastor of Abundant Life International Church, a small Northwestside immigrant church
